SB 2028 (Kolkhorst) is an omnibus bill that will make many improvements to Texas' Medicaid program, including:

adding a preventive dental benefit for adults with disabilities in community care who otherwise would have no access
enabling hospitals to discharge a person to their homes with attendant care, rather than a nursing home
a pilot program for advancing care for children
promoting independent living and more!

SB 2028 passed the Senate floor last week and will be heard in House Insurance on Tuesday, May 18. Ask the member of House Insurance to support SB 2028.
